this is the kind of lamp my kid would design to cover EVERY SINGLE square inch of his room in an attempt to thwart the efforts of....THE BOOGEYMAN!!! It looks like something that happens when the kids from the Goonies and the Monster Squad get together to forge weapons.
I like to think that it was kludged together by a well-meaning retiree who didn't know the difference between ambient lighting and high-beam motion sensor security lighting.
I don't get this lamp at all.. so they want to blind themselves? :P
